Paintball?
It absolutely amazes me how opinions can vary so much on something so simple as a game of paintball. The Woodsballer believes this is one of the best paintball videos ever and that's cool. What ever floats your boat as long as it's not getting in my water.
I think the video is dangerous to paintball. I was going to put up a poll and ask for opinions but you know what? I'm tired and I'm really trying hard to stop letting stuff like this get under my skin. As long as my regulars and birthday parties and church groups go home smiling with out me having to capitalize on man's inhumanity to man I'm a happy camper.

Good God, what does that video have to do with paintball? It's like they accidentally switched a shipment of real guns with paintball markers and decided to film their war epic with them anyway. It fails as a paintball video because it went way too hard on the realism, and it fails as a war video because they decided to use markers as props.
I agree, it's wrong on so many levels: I mean, for a crappy war picture - the video is great.
As far as real-world military tactics go - most of those ought to be fragging their officers (when did Napoleonic line tactics get re-introduced into the 21st century?) and as far as paintball goes, ummm
No.
Made in Russia, apparently - but still - can you imagine what a regular field could do with what must have been the budget for that 'ad'?
The crazy thing is, these guys have made several videos similar to this one... Big bucks spent (i can only assume).
Now as far as my opinion on it being the best paintball video ever... I guess it's just that; my opinion.
As long as we have field owners/operators like you who take pride in making sure their customers have the best possible time while being as safe as they can, all ends well for everyone.
Take care,

Thanks for the input, Jeff.
The video has its pros and cons. Its a good video with alot of production time placed into it. But as for it being a true paintball video it is rather misconstrued. I have yet to find any paintballs with 'dust' in them beside from pepperdust used by law enforcements. As a sniper i know that long distance shots like that are rather impossible, and the use of explosives so close to people would get me to ban a field. As far as i can see the reason behind the video is " look you can be a bad*%& in paintball." Beside who knows what kind of thoughts run through those russians heads.
This video has almost no realism in it, it looks like Call of Duty using paintball guns, as for it being the best paintball video, there is no way! if it is meant to draw people into paintball there going to be disapointed because thats not how it is played, and it could turn lots of people away because it looks too much like a war.
