Paintbal/? orings, trac tire, 2x4+, don't forget the milk...
I'm a note taker. I recycle scrap paper by cutting it into quarters. There's a pile of these clean on one side, quarter size scraps of paper setting on the corner of my desk and by the end of the day ten or twelve or more of these scraps are scattered around the pro shop covered with cryptic, nearly undecipherable scrawl.
There's a reminder to fix the loose board on the back corner of the fort. There's another to remind me a pallet of Quick-Crete at Lowes has 42 bags and cost $131 plus tax. In the corner of that same note is a reminder that I need fill nipple o-rings and right next to that a blog post idea.
At the end of the day there is another special batch of notes that I clear out of my pockets. The regulars here know not to ask me for this gizmo or that doo-dad during the day because it goes in one ear and out the other. They know to write it down, hand it to me and then wait till they see me put it in my pocket. They have learned to wait and watch, otherwise I will set it down somewhere and not see it again for days.
We all have our own ways. I don't know what I'll do if someday I look down at my desk and not see any notes. Guess I'll retire. Fat chance of either ever happening.
