Mike over at Tech PB said he got to shoot one at cup ON an Xball field, and had Chris Lasoya shoot him with it, and then shot himself point blank with it.
If what he says is true and it shoots the same, if not better than .68 and HURTS LESS and is cheaper, I am all for the switch.
I think the biggest hang up will be field owners like yourself Mick. Making the switch would be cost prohibitive, so it will definately be a multi year thing....
But, PSP has approved it and 1 or more teams will be shooting it next year, so the push is definately on....
What do YOU think Mick?????
Do you think cheaper ball that is less painfull would help YOU out?
Time will tell!
Oh, come on, Mick, you can't just say "Time will tell".
Are they more accurate? Do they fly further? How do they taste?
Huggs,
Enzo
PS: Loved the website
I was wondering who might be the first to call me out on my wimpy reply. Good for you Enzo! I'll have more to say...!
I don't really know how they taste! I'm not privy to the class elite testing going on. I hear the 50 cal shooting range at World Cup wasn't really all that busy.
the range was a little slow but i didnt think it was that helpful anyway, it was too short to see what kind of an effect the paint had on distance and what not... shooting it on a field was nice, and brules is right, there wasnt much of a change
think about it this way guys. do you really want the used marker market killed? plus all the .68 cal parts and equiptment to just go away? sure the pods would probably still work, but hoppers would jam up, barrels are waaaay to big and the old guns wont shoot it. the .50 cal works great for rental guns b/c of efficiancy and keeping it FPO. but to use it in regular tournaments would kill our sport. Do all of you have the 1000 dollars to buy a brand new highend? I dont think so. Do you realize how most people get their new guns? they sell off their old equiptment and guns. .50 cal has been tried multiple times and has flopped every time, i see this happening again.
All good points Dylan. Thanks for the input.
