Thinking inside a smaller box...
More on Tom Kaye's mini compressor...
I'm trying so hard not to hate this guy. He's a damn genius. I remember sitting and talking with him one time in a hotel lounge, trying to comprehend some of his engineering thoughts and thinking, "This guy is from another dimension in time." It's not so much that his ideas are unique or revolutionary so much as they are spot on. Timing, some say, is everything.
Look for this thing to hit the market sometime this summer - in both 3K and 4.5 K versions. No rice announced yet but I'm going to guess somewhere around $1200. What do you think?

He has said that it will be in the $300-400 range. It takes 4 hours to fill a 68/4500 with 80 psi input and a little faster with 100 psi input. It's more intended for the home tinkering type or someone playing renegade ball and not near a fill location or a dive shop.
Four hours??!! Holy cow. Not what I was expecting...!
