Those wonderful little things are "Automag Foamies".
Back in the good old days, you would superglue the foam rubber triangle to your stainless steel lvl 7 bolt. They always did tend to fly off at the most in-opportune time.

They're foamies that go on the nose of my Automag bolt. They soften the impact of the bolt on the ball.
